§ · How buying works

From checkout to activated.

  1. Pick your billing cycle — monthly or annual — and one or two machines on the checkout page. Freemius is the merchant of record, so any taxes or VAT are handled there.
  2. Your license key arrives by email.
  3. Open the StreamXLS Control Panel from the Start menu and paste the license key to activate.
  4. Manage billing, machine count, invoices, and subscriptions any time at streamxls.com/account.
  5. Cancel any time — it takes effect at the end of the paid period.

No trial sign-up is needed — the 30-day free trial starts on its own the first time the installed software runs in Excel. The trial is your evaluation window: paid periods are non-refundable, so take the full 30 days before you buy. If a subscription lapses, live data stops but nothing is deleted — workbooks and data stay yours, and everything resumes when you renew (details). Full terms are in the license agreement.
